Michael is a seven-year-old boy with several challenging disabilities.
When observing him in class we noticed that Michael was
unable to use coloring pens independently, as he struggled to grip
them. He also didn’t find them very engaging compared
to electrical tablets. Our aim was to enable Michael to draw
independently and be excited about drawing again.
Wiggle Markers range of pen attachments can be
used with most pens, had large handles which allowed
him to grip the pens and beads in the handle to make a
musical rattle when moved across the paper. We created
a single version for regular writing tasks as well as a triple
and large version to make doodling exciting.
