The ultimate objective is to produce a freestanding shelf system people keep when they change environments, both because they understand how it works, and also because it can be easily compacted for transportation.

The shelf system combating the fact most knockdown or flatpack furniture have a complex assembly, rarely being disassembled once constructed, meaning they tend to be left when homeowners move.
