Reading light design joins laminated birch lamp shade to the pole stainless steel and stand without using any adhesives or fixings. The head pivots on the pole allowing you to direct the light when reading.

I spent several months experimenting with how the process of lamination can be used in different ways to maximise a materials potential. Exploring different ways, you can use different process such vacuum presses, moulds and steam to manipulate materials.
